We Support The AAPI Community

Dear Clinton families: 

Hopefully you had a chance to read the official statement published by our district this week regarding the horrific hate crimes committed against the Asian-American and Pacific Islander community.  

We wanted to echo those sentiments and express our solidarity with AAPI families at Clinton and across SOMA. It is critical and necessary that AAPI students feel safe in our school.  It is up to all of us—the PTA, our teachers, our parents, our kids, our administration—to make this a reality.  

We are providing a link to the Note To Our Community shared by SOMAsian and endorsed by many community members and organizations. Please take a moment to read this very important message.

2. Middle School & High School:  Your child’s  Guidance Counselor can provide counseling for your child, connect you with resources available in the Secondary Schools as well as provide referrals to an outside therapist.  Students with IEP’s should contact their case manager.
