8:05 Student Drop Off

• At assigned exterior doors 

• Please do not drop off students prior to 7:55 a.m.

  In the event of inclement weather, students proceed directly to the auditorium to wait for the bell 

Unpack 

Academics

• The school day contains working periods for core academic topics.

• Details on grade-specific curriculum is shared at Back to School Night and in teacher correspondence. 

Specials

• Students have a designated special each day of the week: art, library, music, and physical education (2 times a week).

  4th/5th grades also have Spanish 

• Sneakers needed for physical education class 

Snack Tips (in Classrooms)

• The need for snack varies by age and lunch time. You will receive information from your child’s teacher if a snack is needed.

• Healthy snacks are encouraged.

• No nuts allowed in snacks 

Recess-Lunch (Cafeteria)

• Easy packaging increases time available for eating

• Nuts ARE allowed in lunches, though teachers will inform classes if there is a severe allergy in the classroom

• Students first go outside (weather permitting) for recess before entering the cafeteria for lunch, and wash hands upon entering by using sinks or hand sanitizer  

2:35 Pack up and Dismissal

• At assigned exterior doors 

• Aftercare students dismissed to assigned locations (cafeteria for on-site; front hall for bus)
